Other things to note
✔ Big supermarket "La Sirena" only about 2min. walk from our house.
✔ On request we can arrange airport pickup for US$ 35.- (until 3 guest, more U$ 40.-) with our trusted driver. He can also assist with your check-in if you want.
✔ We would like to inform you that the air conditioner(s) in the bedrooms are not intended or designed to run 24/7 at 16C (77F) and/or to cool the entire house when leaving the doors open! This shortens the lifespan, unnecessarily increases electricity costs and also harms the environment.
The rental price therefore only includes a limited average electricity consumption in order to still pass on our low rental prices to all guests, as some guests simply ignore these instructions. Please read our house rules for additional costs for excess consumption!
✔ If you let us know at least 3 days before check-in, for a tip our cleaning lady will be happy to provide you with the things you would like to have from the supermarket at check-in (e.g. drinks, snacks, etc.) and place them in the house with the bill. As noted in the amenities list, we do not provide anymore any drinking water, coffee, salt, pepper etc. as such items in "open containers" have been criticized too often as unhygienic by previous guests.
✔ FYI: As on all squares and streets in the Dominican Republic, it is quite normal to find several people on the usually busy "Plaza San Anton", especially in the afternoon and evening. Some just sit and rest there, others drink something or dance sometimes, or even young people who play basketball there.
